Senior Director, Solutions Marketing, Fortinet
The Internet of Things – Good, Bad or just plain Ugly? (UK)
The Internet of Things (IoT), like most new technologies, promises great things – only time will tell whether it can deliver on those promises or if IoT is an epic disaster.
We will explore the hidden side of IoT, its impact on a network’s security posture and how some fundamental changes to the network’s security posture should be considered before jumping into the deep end of the IoT pool.
As Senior Director, Solutions Marketing, Patrick is responsible for creating and evangelizing key messages about Fortinet’s network security solutions. Through his in-depth understanding of the complexities of network security, Patrick is able to cut through the half-truths and myths surrounding the subject to provide clear and concise information to Fortinet’s customers and partners.
Prior to joining Fortinet, over the course of the past 30 years he has worked for a number of small to medium size organizations as well as larger companies such as Wellfleet Communications, Bay Networks, Nortel Networks, Hughes Network Systems and Comtech Mobile Data Communications in the United States, the United Kingdom and France, holding a range of senior level international sales and marketing roles.
